CDN for a small forum — overkill? (part 2)

Moving from shared hosting to a VPS was the best decision for my sites.

Learned the hard way that an untested backup is a Schrödinger backup.

Staging is just a subdomain plus a database copy — nothing fancy, works fine.

Curious what everyone else here thinks about it.

A simple rsync cron is my entire backup strategy and I sleep fine.

Free CDN tier is more than enough for a forum.
